Landhotel Hauer, hotel in Oberhausen

This hotel is one of the best I have stayed in. A modern building, very well appointed and equipped. My room was in effect a suite. Staff most pleasant and efficient. The breakfast lived up to its description as gourmet. The restaurant too was of a high standard. Plenty of parking space and a quiet location. I could not fault anything.

This hotel does not deserve the bad comments. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They opened up a private area specially for us to charge our e-bikes. The restaurant on the premises is very good. There was no breakfast, but that was clearly mentioned on the reservation, so no reason to complain about it. Moreover, they put a coffee machine with free coffee at the disposal of the guests who cannot start the day without a shot of caffeine.

The place is in a small village with small roads, loved it. The entrance is inside of the patio, where the restaurant is, had dinner there, nice staff, nice food. The breakfast is in the restaurant, at a time that only the people from the rented rooms will be there, and you have coffee, tea, boiled egg, bread, cheese, ham, etc, In the end, it's a lot better then most hotels.
