A little oldfashioned, but that's ok. Very quiet, and a good nights sleep. Just remember to adjust heating yourself. Friendly staff and guests. Parking just outside. Breakfast as expected.

I've booked this place (few hours before arrival ) on my transit way to Airport. We received all necessary steps via booking chat message so we know almost everything. I encourage to read it, especially were it is located because you can miss that :) Place is in great shape, everything was clean and fresh, beds comfortable, well equipped kitchen, strong wifi - really felt great and relaxed there. The host was also kind and helpful. I wish to be there where sun was up so I do believe that view for valley can be spectacular :)

I love the room setting is has everything to microwave.. the building itself looks like a motel but inside it's a 5 star budget hotel. Excellent.

Landgasthof Hotel Hess is perfectly located in the small village of Aua, Neuenstein, just on the side of the autobahn (A7). This was the fourth time we stayed here on our way down to Italy, and we do it for a reason. The location is one, but the hotel offers very comfortable, clean and quiet rooms. Furthermore, they have a great restaurant that serves high quality and well prepared food plus a superb breakfast. This is a gem!
Close to the A7 motorway, the hotel was perfect for a short layover. We sadly didn't have time to look around the city, but from the French balcony it looked historic and nice and you could hear the murmur of the brook nearby.
The room was equipped with all that you need for a stay, even a Dyson ventilator for warm days. The baker in the building plus the gas station next to the hotel, made it very convenient as a pitstop.
It was a very clean hotel with nice size rooms and clean bathroom. It was closely located next to the highway and a petrol-station. Very friendly staff and well organized breakfast with ample choice. we were running a bit late and the staff had prepared everything for a very quick checkin. would definitely consider staying again when en route.
Second time we y stayed at this hotel, which says a lot. It is altogether a great hotel - great rooms with great beds, really good breakfast and friendly staff. The location right besides the A7 is very convenient, especially if you travel through Germany south or north. Will happily stay here again!

The hotel is situated close to the highway and at the same time in beautiful surroundings in a village. The hotel has nice beds, perfect after a long ride by car. Dogs are wellcome. The meals in the restaurant are fresh made and delicious. The standard of service is very high.
Very nice hotel, close to the road, very convenient when travelling. Rooms are very big and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Good terrace for summer dinners, food was excellent. Good breakfast
