A lovely surprise
I wanted to book a hotel near the motorway for myself and my dog for one night as I was doing a long journey.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quaint and quiet little village, the little walks that are around (perfect for stretching legs after a long drive and to let the dog run), the garden around the hotel and the old school charm of the hotel itself, with its delicious restaurant.
The room was small but fully functional and comfortable. The shower was amazing.
The bed was perfect.
The dinner was great,
The staff and other guests were very friendly and accommodating.
Overall it was fantastic value for money. I would stay again

The location close to A9 was simply brilliant coming from Italy. Even if it upon arrival seemed a bit right on the street it opened up as a hidden gem for a one night stay.
We brought our two Golden Retrievers and what a welcome. The owner had arranged a blanquet, a bowl, poop-bags and a bag of treats for every dog that made us feel very welcome. The rooms were big and clean and even if the interior wasnt the newest everything was clean etc.
The dinner in the rest. Was very good and cheap and again the owner showed us very nice hospitality. Regarding the breakfast it was totally the same and we will for sure come back in the future.
Also a last thing: a seperat entrance direct from the private parking was nice when ealking the dogs, and there was even a private garden and so on for our dogs to enjoy.

This is our second time at Gleiseins,the rooms are new refurbished and very basic, but with all the necessary.The staff is friendly and welcoming.Breakfast is good,but there is no buffet,the food is prepared on your table in the morning.Please note the Hotel is on the train station,but not much noise.
A great overnight stop on the way to southern Europe. It is possible to have breakfast and dinner on site. Nice, renovated bathroom. The hotel is close to the autobahn, but not on its side. Located in a small and tidy town.
