Michelau is a village in the upper Main valley which does not offer much to visitors but the nearby cities of Lichtenfels or - a bit further - Coburg are very nice. The greatest cultural attractions of the area are the basilica of Vierzehnheiligen and the former monastry Kloster Banz.
