The room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to sit on the balcony overlooking vineyards and the Mosel. But what made it a great stay was that Markus was such a great host. Guests should be aware that check-in (and breakfast) is at the restaurant at the opposite end of the village, but this is a steady walk or a short drive. And it's worthwhile as the restaurant, which is popular with locals, serves excellent food along with the very good wines that Markus makes. And although he's always busy, he makes the time to chat to guests, and he's an interesting chap. We have visited the area several times before, and will certainly return here again.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Lovely wellness facilities and the hotel was comfortable and was beautifully decorated. I can highly recommend a visit. Slightly outside Cochem centre but within walking distance. Good parking. Dog friendly. Immaculately clean. Thank you for a really enjoyable stay.

Perfect location, easy access. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. We have stayed a few times and this will always be our hotel choice in Zell.

Mesenich is an interesting place, fun to explore. Easy to walk everywhere - nice path along the Mosel River and vineyards everywhere with easy paths. Several restaurants. No grocery store - in town or nearby! Very relaxed atmosphere, very quiet, very friendly people. Highly recommend Mesenich.
The location of the hotel was very nice, along Mosel river, and one can see the river from the balcony of the room.
The staff were in principle friendly , although strict to their rules.
