We have travelled with 3 children. Great location not far from motorway, close the town centre. Very friendly people, we felt that we are welcomed. Nice breakfast.

Upon entering the apartment we had a real WOW feeling.
The place looks as if we were the first people to stay there. Everything in perfect order.
The place is heaven for gadget lovers with a fancy coffee machine (tastes real good!), 2 TVs, a Sonos and more.
The wifi worked perfectly and we could charge our electric car.
The bedrooms are comfortable and the shower was warm and looked brand new.
The environment was very quiet, we did not hear a thing at night.
Absolutely a place to recommend and come back !

Parking was effortless, convenient, and abundant. There were lots of spaces directly in front of the building. There is a small grocery store next door. By foot, there is a bakery only 5 minutes away and an excellent Greek restaurant 7 minutes away (Restaurant Dionysos) next to a beautiful public park.

I have arrived in an all day pouring rain crossing Germany with the aim to stay the night and get to the ferry back to England the next day. The hotel is in a perfect location for that as it's only a few minutes from the motorway. When the front desk staff saw that I am on a motorcycle she offered to put it in one of the hotels secure garages. That was a huge bonus for me. Dinner was delicious and served beautifully and the breakfast was great. From now on will be the hotel I will be staying at when crossing Europe.
We had very nice rooms at the backside of the building, completely quit with an outdoor area, motorcycles could be stored "downstairs" with easy access to our rooms for the luggage. Although it was quit busy (all table outside occupied) service was quick and correct and we had wonderful meals (and a nice drink of course). Also the breakfast (available horrible early :) ) was absolutely marvelous. Would consider this hotel for a stop during a next trip in this direction without a thought.
Comtinental breakfast was a fine choice, good quality, ample choices. Location is good - walking distance between Merzig and Mettlach for ramblers. Also a fine midway stop between the Channel and southern Germany.
Staff are great - manageress Manu was a star in trying to arrange a local fix for a motorist with a chipped windscreeen - she took photos, contacted local Carglass, got us advice to continue journey as local Carglass could not replace front screen for 3 days.
A really lovely hotel with a very comfortable bed and freindly service. The food in the restaurant was also really good, as was the breakfast. We booked on the same day as our arrival and the hotel was very accommodating. A kettle was brought to our room upon request and there was plenty of room to put a baby travel cot up.
This is a fantastic Hotel to stay at. It is literally 2 minutes from the autobahn.
The staff are great, always happy & helpful. Even though the normally great breakfast isn't as it usually is due to Covid restrictions it's still is very good. Having to give your order in the night before. Still excellent.
Hotel Roemer was a beautiful boutique hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and our room. We were there only one light. We also enjoyed dinner in the dinning room. We were very jet lagged and it was perfect location for us to meet our boat trip. Thanks for a nice evening!!
This is the second time we've stayed in this hotel while travelling across Europe. Very friendly staff, who helpfully accommodated last-minute changes to our travel schedule. A good and reasonably priced restaurant. Our dog was made welcome. We will stay again.
There was nothing to like about this building, I refuse to call it a hotel, it was a house in a residential area with accommodation units in the garden. This may be adequate accommodation for hikers on a budget but it is far too highly priced.
Great place! Plenty of room, very clean and modern. All linens, towels are fresh. Host was wonderful. Very close to the highway, perfect for stop over in Germany.We had a great time staying in the apartment. Definitely recommended!

We had a lovely spacious room- very comfortable with a breakfast area. The breakfast was well supplied with fresh bread arriving early in the morning at our door! Location was perfect after boat and bike trip on Saar.
Good location not far from the centre in Merzig. Good size room and comfortable bed. Ok size bathroom. Nice to have a bottle of water in the room. Food for dinner was good but the restaurant was very busy.
