This hotel is ideally situated for people arriving by train and intending to use public transport ( which offers excellent coverage) whilst in Kassel. We were allocated a spacious room which proved to be pleasantly quiet despite the proximity of a busy road.

The hotel is situated near the city centre, so I could reach everything on foot. Check in and out were easy, there is a parking lot and a snack automat in the lobby. All in all everything was okay.
The Hotel Alter Packhof is located in the old town in Hannoversch Münden, where the Werra and Fulda rivers meet.

The location is great. Directly next to the train station, but still very quiet.
