The hotel is very close to the city center, in a very quite place. The room was clean, there was water and some coffee capsules. We personnel was nice and friendly. We even had a chance to leave our luggage in the storage room. Very nice stay, can only recommend.

The hotel is a family business and therefore it has an individual character and approached towards the guests. There is a main building and a side wing. My room in the side wing offered a lot of space (including the bathroom) as did the lobby and breakfast room in general. Furthermore the room was very quiet . The buffet breakfast is standard German, bread, coffee, cooked eggs, jam, fruit, water and juice and so on. Breakfast is mainly served from 6.00 am on weekdays and on weekends between 6.30 and 7.00 am. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the train station and important bus junctions. Even the hotel is on the side of the train station which is facing away from the center, the center and the old town can be reached in 5-6 minutes by foot. Restaurants and shops are in the immediate vicinity. It was also nice that you only had to pay when you checked out.

We were looking for a place to stay that was just outside Tübingen and chose Kusterdingen - just a short drive away. We enjoy staying in small towns and looking at the architecture. Being in a more rural area away from cities is refreshing.

Me and my partner booked a room for us and our cat to visit our friends. The hotel is close to a bus station that takes you to Tübingen, which was nice. It was quiet and relaxing. The rooms were really neat and tidy.
The only thing which I didn't like was the fact that they close the balcony on the first floor at night. Since the rooms are no smoking ones, it was a bit annoying.
We stayed 2 nights at the Loewen on our road trip through Baden Württemberg. The location is perfect as a base for visiting the area around Tübingen by car. The car is absolutely necessary as this is definitely country side. But the highway is very close, driving to Tübingen Center it is about 7km. Our room was in the roof area, quite small, but clean and very quiet. Very friendly, family run hotel. Breakfast was good and sufficient. We did not eat in the restaurant, but the menu list looked ok (Pizzeria).
