Our first night of a 21day trip through Germany & Poland.
Our first night of a 21day trip through Germany & Poland. We ate on their back veranda outside. Gorgeous views, wonderful staff and good food. The weather was balmy. The room was very comfortable. The hotel had a lot of history and understandable since it was Princess Viktoria's home (first daughter of Queen Victoria.)
The grounds were part of a forest environment.
All the reasons above created a most wonderful night to remember.

Kronberg im Taunus is a gem in the Frankfurt area. We decided to stay there rather than in Frankfurt itself. It was a very smart decision! Kronberg is beautiful, and there is much to see. The view of Frankfurt from the Kronberg castle is phenomenal. The restaurants were wonderful: excellent food and attentive service everywhere. It is a very human scale (as opposed to Frankfurt am Mainhattan), and it was much more relaxing than a few days in Frankfurt would have been. It is only 20 minutes from downtown Frankfurt (by commuter train, S-Bahn). Is there any down side? The town center is very much up hill from the train station, and that might be daunting for the mobility impaired; time for a taxi!

It is a very nice hotel and a unique experience compared with other conventional hotels.
The rooms are spacious, cleaned and well maintained. Bathroom is also spacious and very clean.
Hotel has a real gem in the lobby a sitting space to relax in font of big open fireplace where you can enjoy a drink and a pleasant conversation.
All in all a very nice experience and we hope we will be back to relax and enjoy this place.

Loved everything especially the old world charm, beautiful decor in the room and the luxurious bathroom. Breakfast in bed was wonderful. Being able to park on the grounds right in front of the hotel was so convenient.
Didn't care too much for the lady that checked us out the next morning.

I just love the hotel, the interior, the furniture, the paintings - and the excellent and impeccable service. The garden is most beautiful. If we are flying in or out of Frankfurt, this is the place to say - although you need a car. The restaurant is great - wine selection superb and the food was most delicious.

They have a low score on Booking.com, so I expected to find something not good but it is the opposite.
Breakfast was OK. In general everything was ok but it was not at the level of a 4star hotel. I would say more like a 3star hotel. However Bed was really good. I had my room at the quiet side of the hotel. So it was a good night sleep.
I had some spider nets hanging from the ceiling and in the corner of the windows.
everything about our stay at The Schlosshotel was so fantastic!! beautiful historical and impeccably maintained property! the breakfast buffet was 10/10! rooms were very comfortable! staff had us all feeling so very special!! would definitely go again! highly recommend!
Very new and pretty hotel at a reasonable price. Our room was of a decent size and all facilities were good. Underground hotel parking made it easier for us and we were very happy about being able to check in early to our room even though we forgot to ask :)
The grounds and the castle are magnificent. The furnishings were also magnificent, like a museum. This was our second stay at the hotel. Definitely don't miss the rose gardens or walking around the grounds in the morning and dusk. They are beautiful.
The hotel was centrally located with a friendly manager. The room was large with a comfortable bed, and our dog was welcomed. There was parking close by at a reasonable rate and there were great restaurants in walking distance.
Dog friendly, they even prepared a dog bed, water and cookies for my dog. Very good location, quiet, next to a big park and not far from the restaurants. Room is big and warm. Hotel stuffs are very friendly.
I stayed for 4 days, everything was perfect. Great location just aproximatelly 100 metres form train station. No problem with parking. The owner of the hotel is very nice and helpfull, the room was clean.

Great location literally steps from the S-Bahn to Frankfurt and right next door to the new Casals Forum Hall (where I was headed). Good breakfast selection. Good shower.
