Excellent hotel! Very close to the main city attractions without being in a noisy setting, and apparently there had been some renovation recently. Our suite was wonderful, very comfortable and the terrace just great (it was raining, but in the summer it must be so nice!).
The breakfast was very generous and we ate at the hotel’s restaurant once (the food was good, although the waiting time especially for the desserts was very long, but there was a big group, so I think they were having a busy day).
The staff was very welcoming and professional. There’s a parking lot just beside the hotel (not private), and it’s rather reasonably priced and the parking spaces are large enough.
There’s also a small shop at the hotel and a fitness centre, but we didn’t try it.
We had looked at other accommodations for our trip to Trier, but we chose this hotel since it was more centrally located and it seemed modern and clean. And it was! We were very happy and would gladly come back.

Price/quality optimal (for high season at least). We read criticisms that the facilities are outdated and that is true but these facilities are quite complete. (We even had scales in our room, imagine!) The town of Konz is rather unattractive but ideal if you are walking the Moselsteig like we did.
Hotel is under new management that is still finding its way but is really focused on customer satisfaction.
The owner was also in reception when I arrived both times I was there 4 days apart and was really friendly and helpful. He gave me a free upgrade to my room the second time. My room was perfect for me. Clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was also adequate. All in all I recommend this hotel.
Very friendly, easy to find, great location with simple cheap train access to Trier. The manager was so nice offering to carry our bags and always had a smile. A real gem of a hotel. The wisteria covered beer garden and pond were a great touch. Ample parking
The location is very convenient to train stations, restaurants and markets. The rooms are well maintained and beds very comfortable. The innkeeper is very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast has everything you could want.
