The lady on reception when we arrived was fantastic. She couldn't speak much English, but though out our stay, on she was on, she was willing, friendly and very helpful. Great.

Peaceful location. A pleasant 15 minute walk to the town from the hotel. The staff were very nice. The room was very clean. We did not use the sauna so can't comment.

Booked this Hotel on short notice for one night. Loved the interior for sure, just how one does imagen a castle to look like. The owners put a lot of efforts into it. And also loved the garden view from the terrace not to mention how long it stretches into the back woods. The receptionist recommended a 2.5 miles hike to Ruetzenfelder See starting from there, which I was to tired make, because I already hiked elsewhere 15 miles in the morning.
