Small hotel with friendly staff. The bar is frequented by locals, but not those "keep to the road" types. Restaurant with a good German menu. Clean, comfortable, spacious room with a large bathroom. WiFi was strong. Nothing to complain about. I would have no second thoughts about staying here again. Much better than many chain hotels.

Staff were good but not always there on site . We had to wait until 5pm to get our room key at the partner hotel one block away . Breakfast was very good and included in the price . Room was large as was bathroom but small shower .

Lovely location on the central square of the historical little hill town-village of Amöneburg, I particularly appreciated the nice relaxing welcoming atmosphere, the spacious room in a modern yet traditional style with a private terasse, the truly excellent meals, dinner and breakfast, and especially the fresh local products.
The view from the balcony must have given the property the name Schoene Aussicht. Parking is right in front of the door, The place has it's own entrance and is separated from the rest of the house.
It was lovely to chat with the owners and thank you for the morning Broetchen.
The shops are only a short drive away and the area in Kirchhain has too many castles and walks to visit them all.
