Beautiful hotel in a very old building. Room was lovely with a view of the Rhine. The breakfast is delicious with plenty of choice including a hot eggs and bacon option. Staff were lovely & very helpful. We ate at the restaurant one evening only as it only does Thai food - which was very nice but we like German traditional options and they had none. We walked to Bacharach along the Rhine in about 1 hr 20 which was an easy flat walk and bach again. Highly recommend this hotel if visiting the lovely historic town of Oberwesel.
Paid parking spaces are located near the hotel. Double rooms at the Hotel Rheinlust have a balcony with a direct or side view of the Rhine. Twin and single rooms have city views.

The place has a great location. Very helpful staff and nice restaurant..Room was nice and cosy. They let us to leave the bikes in the garage. We enjoyed the small children playground.

Great location, easy acces by car and free (limited) parking spots available. Our room was on 2th floor, accessible by stairs or elevator. Was clean and decent. The breakfast was great too, maybe a little basic, but it has everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some do also speak English. Overall great stay, good price, and everything was hygienic. Would definitely recommend

The apartment was big enough, clean and with up-to-date furnishing. A good breakfast was included with real german brötchen, but also musli and yopghurt. We liked the apartment, because it stayed cool, had enough space for the kids to play after a day of sight seeing and had a kitchen to quickly prepare diner. Kestert is between Boppard and St Goar and a lot of the castles, so this is a good base to start from for sightseeing. This all combined with the friendly owner, made it a very nice stay.
It was one of the best places we had been for the price paid. Personnel was extremely helpful and careing. Food was typical German type in non-season time: small choices, but very tasty, enough calories and huge portions. In the hotel reastaurant area we liked games available and also entartainment at evenings - music, dancing, open and fiendly atmosphere. You may say, not very modern place, but perfectly fit for aged guests who are not in hurry and want to be treated as in the family. Highly recommended. Many thanks!
The hotel is old with older furniture but very clean and neat. The bathroom is big and new. The location is directly at the Rhine river with amazing view. We had the room on back side and it was quite. Staff very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good but limited. The hotel has dinner buffet at affordable price and it looked good. Many guests also outside from hotel eat there. There is also small a la carte menu and the meals taste good
We always love it here. Cosy, family run hotel right on the banks of the Rhein. The rooms are traditionally rustic and airy with very comfy beds. The food is also very traditional Rheinland cuisine - hearty and delicious. Marena always welcomes us like family and we were so grateful for her help this visit.
The owner organized a bingo night and asked us to join. Was a lovely evening, with prizes too. The food was good too. Despite the furniture is a bit dated, it is clean and cosy and I don't have a problem with that. I definetely recommend the hotel.
