It was warm inside with the central heating working well. There is a lift and was simple to get to the second floor. The beds were very comfortable and it is certainly the place to get a quiet and peaceful night's sleep. The restaurant was convivial and the service provided amiable creating a warm atmosphere. The local wine was an excellent choice. In the morning there were fresh fried eggs with a sprinkling of herbs.

We really enjoyed the location and view from our room. Being there in the slow season was amazing because there weren’t a lot of people around and I enjoyed that. We hadn’t been there before so we didn’t have to wait in line for photos at any of the popular places tourists travel to. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient with us because we didn’t speak German. We would love to come back in the summer to see how it looks like with more people, and shops being open longer
