Simply beautiful double room. Really comfortable bed. Spacious room and en-suite bathroom with wonderful shower. Powerful fan provided which kept us cool. Kettle, coffee machine with plenty of pods etc available. After a traumatic day of travel stuck in autobahn traffic jams this stop off was perfect. We were happy to walk to the nearest restaurant 20 minutes away for a tasty evening meal and wonderful local wine. We knew there wasn’t a café or bakery nearby so we had brought our own provisions for breakfast. We would definitely stay again
Beautiful community with a friendly citizenry. The city center is very picturesque with a wonderful church center. We were able to enjoy a small but well-stocked Christmas market (indoor). We will return in the future.
The hotel was within walking distance of the town and railway station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had booked two rooms for three nights and both rooms were a good size with separate space for relaxing in. One room had a good sized outdoor area to sit in as well. The bathrooms were a good size too. The breakfast was good as well with a good variety of food available. I would happily stay there again.
Hotel zur Pfalz is a very good hotel, helpful staff. on-site parking. The only issue I had was that the restauant was closed for 2 nights. This meant we had to go out to find somewhere to eat. Not what I wanted to be doing after a long drive. I have stayed here before and the restaurant is excellent normally. I should have been warned when booking that is was closed.
