Just to have things clear: this small town is not a touristic place itself (at least we didn't know any attractions in the town).
It's an usual, clean, nice German town, but very convenient if you want to visit attractions nearby (for us - the Rhinefalls in Switzerland).
Moreover, we stayed in Bahnhof Hotel, which was exactly across the street from the railway station. So, it was even more convenient to get there and also to go to the Rheinfalls (although we had our car, so it is a 10 min. drive to Rheinfall, including the border crossing).
The hotel was OK (please see my dedicated review).
An additional advantage, if you stay in the railway station (bahnhof) area, is that in a 3-4 minutes walk you have a LIDL supermarket,
