The apartment was really cozy and comfy and Kerstin was a lovely host. The village is wonderful and there are plenty of things to do nearby, such as nice restaurants 2 min away from the apartment or the weinwanderweg hike. The best thing was that the apartment is shaded in the afternoon, so it never gets too hot inside.
The pallet beds were really nice, both comfortable and environmentally friendly. I also really liked the giant pillows we had for the double bed, as well as the couch pillows in the livingroom.

We had a real find here and couldn't have wished for a better place to stay. Boris is so kind and generous - his fellow villagers are very friendly!
The village is settled on a hill within an area of vines and the whole village appear to make wine and beer....we sampled some.
We discovered a lovely restaurant and had a simple meal including a new wine (to us) made with the Silvaner (I think) grape - it's white and is a distinct taste - our major discovery was that this wine does not give indigestion - amazing!!
Fabulous night's sleep, the rooms are comfortable and well equipped. They have a sweet balcony and shutters to keep the room dark and cool. Shower is amazing!
We would have loved to stay longer and would think that bikes/walking boots would be a good idea.
Brand new (at least, so it looked), great finishings, excellent bathroom, fine beds, staff/owners very motivated and eager to help, breakfast with a lot of attention to details - and at a reasonable price (of course Homburg am Main in early November is not the most attractive place and restaurants were closed, but that is not the fault of this B&B). It is great to see such dedication!
This is our second time staying at the Gasthaus Zum güldenen Rößlein, its so easy to get to whilst on our travels to see family. Not too far off the autobahn but enough to have a peaceful rest in a cosy hotel for the night. The breakfast is very filling with lots of high quality food and a very kind host. Its also great that dogs are welcomed.
Check in was easy and negotiable we went there already late but the owner came to let us check in. The hotel was clean. Host was very accommodating and friendly. They serve a huge breakfast for two persons. We we‘re just there for a short period of time but it was an awesome stay

* The hotel is in good location, right next to the vineyards and wine places. There are other things to see in Homburg too.

Gem of a hotel, perfect location. Modern, VERY clean, fabulous breakfast. Quiet and great for short or longer stay. Host is friendly, a great source of information about wine and food. Definitely will return.
