Breakfast was adequate, well prepared with coffee in place on table, everything well presented. Maybe some more cooked food could be available?. Room was clean and warm especially the bathroom. Simple check-in and check out. Staff were efficient and helpful.

we enjoyed the stay and the staff were very friendly. The owners were exceptionally helpful and tried hard to accomadate all requests. The meals at dinner and the included breakfast were of high quality and ample.

We made a weekend of our drive between university towns in the Netherlands and Denmark, stopping at Paleis Het Loo on day one and the Moravian settlement of Christiansfeld on day two. Heidenau is about midway. It is a small town with interesting old barns.
It was white asparagus season and we enjoyed the all-asparagus menu at the hotel. On a previous trip we had eaten in a typical German restaurant walking distance from the hotel.
The location is convenient. Free parking in front of the hotel. Easy check in / out. The surrounding environment is quiet and peaceful. The room is clean. The facilities in the room are good. There are plenty of beds particularly convenient for the stay of a family of 5 people. The landlord is friendly.
The location was excellent as we were travelling from Germany to Holland with limited time.The hotel staff were very accommodating regarding the possibility of providing us with a late meal ,if necessary. Good food and good value for money.Early breakfast and check out facilities were most helpful.

A lovely hotel with lots of grass area, perfect for us as we had our dog with us. Our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. We were on the ground floor and we enjoyed opening the glass door leading out onto the terrace and garden.
