The host was so friendly. The location is not well-known tourist place, but quiet and surrounded by forest / hill. Nice place to take a walk. The room was so warm in Dec. and had floor heating in the bathroom.

The room had a safe, fridge and even lighting in the cupboards, around the bed’s headboard and footboard. The bathroom was superb with lighted mirrors and a superb walk in shower. Lovely furnishings and a balcony too. Highly recommend.

Our fourth visit to Haslach to visit friends residing in the small town. Over the years we have found Haslach to be a useful base central to the Black Forrest region. Should you need, there are quite a number of shops catering for most requirements. There are also a number of restaurants to try out over a week or so. The buildings in the centre are attractive - the town has a relaxed air and plenty of cobbled streets. There are also a number of festivals to liven things up a bit!
All in all a good base for exploring the area.

Loved the stay, one of the best hotels on our moto trip thru europe. Gated parking for motorbikes.
Spa was included in the price, food and drink inside the hotel restaurant were good. Rooms are super spacious, its like a 1 bed apartment. Little details like, integrated radio in the bathroom, a bag already packed with towels for sauna and spa is ready in your room. Very quite, good sound isolation. Breakfast was nice... Its a no brainer. Will defo come back here.

Amazig and quite place, beautiful views. Super friendly staff and owner. It is a family owned bussnis the owner is such a lovly woman. Great history of the hotel and great service over all. Evrything was clean, the food was great and the prices are also great. We really enjoed our stay here, will be revisiting and recommendig to friends and family. ❤❤

I loved my stay here for 4 nights , the owner was very nice and friendly, room was very clean , the breakfast was very good , I couldn’t ask for more , nothing was too much trouble for the owner, hotel 5 minutes walk from town centre and train station. very nice town with lots of cafes and shops , I will be staying here again definitely

Everything at Hotel-Restaurant Ochsen was great! The staff were very friendly and helpful (be mindful that they don't speak much English, but with the help of a translator it was no problem), the rooms and bathroom were clean, and the restaurant was excellent!
