A nice friendly village directly on the lake. Superb local wines, which can be bought at the "Winzerverein" . In summer it is sometimes a bit busy, but there are many activities. In winter Hagnau is very quiet (which we like). Most restaurants are then closed. But if you like walking, walk to Meersburg (good Italian restaurant on the seafront) or to Immenstaad (restaurant Heinzler). If you stay in an apartment buy the superb lake fish (Felchen, Hecht, Zander) from the local fishermen (e.g. Waldvogel) and treat yourself to some of the best freshwater fish I know. If you like hiking and the very quiet part of the year February is a really nice period. Anaway Hagnau is always a worth a visit.

Lots of cafes and restaurants, small port, ferry stop, including one direct to Switzerland 3 days a week in high season (only 6km).
Lovely swimming, sailing, some watersports. Short walk to next town for thermal spa. Campsite.
Bike track around the lake. Excellent local wine, from vines growing in the village and down to the lakeshore.
The hotel and the rooms are all renovated (or new), properly cleaned by the staff and with adequate space. The view on the lake from the hotel is amazing. The parking lot is underground and therefore a little bit tight if you have a big car but it's more than okay.
The staff (from the receptionist to the cleaning ladies) is really nice and they prepare a breakfast that has all one can ask for: bread, pastries, coffee, fruits, everything is fresh.
All in all, this is definitely an hotel worth its price.
An absolutely stunning location with view over Lake Constance (Bodensee). We were surrounded by vineyards and orchards and the hotel is perfect for anyone wishing to have a quiet holiday. The staff were superb, as was breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble in this warm and welcoming environment. This was our second visit, and we will endeavour to come along again hopefully in the not too distant future.
very nice b&b at 4 minutes by walk to the lake of Constance. Clean and silenced rooms. Before sleeping you can relax in the balcony watching the vineyards at the sunset. Good breakfast. Special feature, the owners, Julia and Roseli are ready to suggest and help you with some places to visit around Hagnau, always with the smile. Ferienhof Berger suggested at 110% from my side.
The hotel was lovely and the staff was exceptional. In addition to being kind and welcoming, they went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and were very accommodating and helpful when my plans changed due to a delayed flight and lost baggage. Next time I am in the area, I would gladly stay there again.
Smooth check-in and check-out, free parking right in front of the hotel, excellent food and great facilities, everyone is really nice and helpful, plus pet-friendly.
I think we had the best room, with bathtub and lake view, but it was also very quiet and clean.
We look forward to coming back during summer!

Breakfast was very good. The dinner was fantastic. Very clean hotel rooms, and A/C! Location awesome. Very attentive and helpful staff. Would go back in a hearbeat!! Only wish we could have stayed longer than four days!
Lovely quiet room at the back of the hotel, comfy beds and good variety for breakfast. Safe secure off road parking, although a little tight for space.
