The hotel is completely secluded off the main road with plenty of parking. The pools are warm and inviting. Included in the room price was a five course dinner which was very acceptable. All in all a good hotel and we’re sure to return.

Gutach is a great base for exploring the Black Forest. The scenery is great, and the distances to better known towns is not great. The open air museum was much more than I expected, tho the tourist gauntlet to get to the front gate is a bit much. The KONUS card is a great benefit. Free train rides and discounts to the best attractions. Be sure to eat at the Rathskeller in Hausach

Gutach is a place "on the way to" that actually has much more to offer as a base from which to explore the Black Forest. Places on the main road suffer from traffic noise, places on the side roads are much more relaxed and quiet, restful homely. If you want to party stay in a town although a small group can have fun here.
Lovely place with such a welcoming vibe. It is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the owners go out of their way to make you feel at home and help you finding activities or restaurants in the area that fit your wishes (or dietary restrictions). Me and my partner have been travelling through Germany, specifically the Black Forest area, and this is by far the best hotel we've been to.
Our stay at this hotel was excellent. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, providing valuable tips for exploring the surrounding area. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel's central location made it convenient for sightseeing and starting hikes. The breakfast was truly outstanding, couldn't have wished for a better start to the day.
I loved staying here. The room was so clean. Felt like home. They have all facilties like kitchen on the ground floor with kettle,fridge, knives, plates etc. Also washing machine with dryer on the basement. It was so hot when we were in Gutach, but they even provided a fan upon request. Loved their service😊

The room was nice, clean and modern, with modern en-suit bathroom and kitchen. Great duvet covers, good for hot weather.

Nice, quiet guesthouse in the heart of the Black Forest. Very easy location to get to, and conveniently located close to a petrol station, an Aldi, and a Lidl. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. We will certainly be returning the next time we travel through Germany.
The place is super idyllic, the air fresh, and the location perfect for hikes in the beautiful nature of Gutach. The Romelehof is definitely good value for money, the rooms and apartments are spacious, light and well-equipped. The breakfast is good except for the coffee..

Super good, in this hotel you feel at home but with views of the black forest and in a warm typical mountain home. The owners are super attentive to everything you need.
