The hotel is modern but cozy, very well-maintained, the room was very comfortable, cute bathroom, and breakfast was spectacular! It has its own parking and it is very close on foot to the charming old town. For those who like it, the exercise facilities were quite good, as well as the good-size pool. The sauna facilities were impressive - several kinds of saunas etc.

Excellent new'ish hotel bit remotely out of Göttingen in some sort of hill area Nikolausberg. Everything was magnificent, price was very affordable for such quality, breakfast was excellent, parking was really nice and staff was helpful and the room was modern and bed and pillow were super comfy. Got a great nights sleep, cannot but recommend! Restaurant Kluckluck (?) also super good for dinner.

I was only in the charming historical part of the time. There were few cars and a very free feeling as people were on foot and riding bicycles. I could go everywhere I wanted to go on foot. However, I never came across a city map which could have kept me from getting lost. The buses were very quiet. The cuisine was varied and well-prepared. I ate all my meals in the Gao Indian restaurant on Kurze Geismar Strasse because it was the best Indian restaurant I have ever experienced. I didn't visit any sites because I was doing research in the university's archives.

Attractive old houses in the town centre, the market place...
Attractive old houses in the town centre, the market place with the "Goose Girl" statue, you can walk around the city wall, two free botanical gardens are worth a visit. It's compact enough to walk around, or the buses are reliable. Around the town the woods are lovely, lots of paths, full of beautiful wild flowers in spring, green and peaceful in the summer. I saw red squirrels! If you're looking for a friendly church I recommend the Baptisten Gemeinde in Burgerstrasse (Sundays at 10.30 am).

They cheated us for our money! Very bad service! We were late for the check in, because of the traffic. The owner would not wait an hour for us to come and told us to find another hotel. They charges us anyway and will not give us any of our money back. Worst service ever! Worst experince ever! Do not book this hotel

Gottingen is very nice old town with fantastic science background - it produced 44 Nobel laureates. City centre is very nice to walk, to get coffee, some shopping, a lot of art objects and lovely spots to take a photo. For 1-2 day tour is enough. If you are in Gottingen your must-see is St.Jacob's chirch and it's 600m bell tower, where you can get on the top level and observe Gottingen from a bird fly level - fantastic view! Just be careful on the wooden stairs))

I really enjoyed the open market and the vibrant town life. The streets were interesting and the university history was fascinating. I liked the statues of mathematicians that celebrate the towns history of academic excellence.
Great hotel that seems to be quite new. Loved the atmosphere and the interior design. The room had exactly what we needed with great space. And just like the hotel everything was new and comfy. For us it was all about 1 night because we were heading towards Nothern Italy. Breakfast was really good with a lot of options and great coffee. Don't think we will come back to explore around, but for a 1 night stay before driving further it is a perfect hotel to stop by.

The staff is so nice! I don't normally say this, because people from hotel staff typically are very cordial, but I was amazed by how attentive, kind and diligent everybody was. They really made an effort to understand my terrible German (unfortunately nobody spoke English) and were super nice and accommodating. In particular the people from the kitchen/ breakfast area, they were adorable. And breakfast was just amazing.

The rooms are located in the 2 buildings ,so you've to go to main building for breakfast. . Quality of breakfast satisfactory. The rooms are small, basic but clean. There are lot of places you can have your dinner nearby.
Breakfast there is always a delight. The staff is very friendly and when I arrive there, tired from driving, they don't waste time with forms to be completed. It is all already prepared and I just have to add my signature. They even ask whether to help my with my luggage. The room is rather large and pleasant.
There are less expensive hotels nearby but I will not change.
Fantastic apartment with cool design and everything you need for a few days! Value for money was amazing. Staff is very friendly. The design is great everywhere. The hotel is still pretty new. We have stayed twice already and really enjoy the spacious room and bathroom. The shower is huge. You will find what you need here. Parking is also an option here.
The Hostel is very clean, well-kept and welcoming, and has a very convenient position (5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes the cit centre). The host Soren is very nice and was extremely helpful when my flight got cancelled and had to book an additional night in Gottingen
