The hotel is a modern, well-kept facility. The room, hallways, entrance, stair well. elevator, etc. were in good order and clean. Breakfast was very good. It offered a variety of hot food, the typical German cold cults and cheese plus an espresso machine to make coffee the way my partner liked. The staff spoke English well enough to help us out. They did not have decaffeinated coffee; however, I can't complain. Parking was easily accessible and at no cost. The bed was alright for me; for my partner, it was so-so.
The people working there were very nice, and I really like they were not dressed in uniforms but their own clothes they felt good in.
The restaurant was great, way beyond what you can expect at those very fair prices.

A very nice place to stop - and Gera is a great town too!
The host is fluent in English. There's a self-service check in via a phone call, and then the villa itself is really nice, we stayed in a room with a wonderful terrace. The furniture, the bathroom feels like new besides few table chairs. Also Gera has interesting history.
The location is a little difficult to find - but once you know the way there it all makes sense. The views across to the (now closed) prison aren't brilliant, but they give you something to think about when you're contemplating life, the universe and everything.
It was great accommodation near to Gera. The receptionist was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for everything, next time we would like to accommodate here again.
Nice old-school hotel, with great confort and amenities. The gentleman that received me doesn't speak english but he's very nice and polite and in the end everything went very well.
Basically everything, the apartment was spotlessly clean and very spacious, the decor was lovely too. If I ever stay in Gera again I will definitely rebook if it is available.
