Genthin is a small town and the location was fine.
The room was a standard single with a satisfactory en-suite bathroom with shower.
The staff were extremely good and helpful.
I had a bicycle and the staff put it in a secure locked garage which they opened up for me immediately I asked in the morning
I had lunch, evening meal and breakfast and all were excellent.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

For the price we pay to stay at this beautiful hotel, the breakfast was quite awful. Please consider revamping what you have to offer.

Very spacious nice studio with full kitchen equipment with kettle, fridge, cooker. Very quiet, one should have good sleep here. Its along the railway line Magdeburg to Berlin, 10 min walk to station, so its a perfect place for a nice stopover here at a reasonable price. One must arrange for arrival time, but owner is easy to reach and explained well how to enter rooms and main door.

Had a lovely time. The hotel was ideally located for cycling excursions along the Elbe and in the countryside, there was a safe enclosure off the courtyard where I could safely lock up my bike, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Terrific Italian restaurant next door, an Aldi close by for stocking up on provisions.
I got the big room (one single bed, one double bed). It was clean and comfortable for a 2 week stay. I liked that there was a microwave, fridge, washing machine and a small kitchenette. Couldn’t really communicate with the hotel owner because he could only speak German, but nevertheless he tried to help me whenever needed.
I like the staff, they were extremely nice and friendly. The hotel was located in a remote place where you can find a lot of peace and quiet.
In front of the hotel there is a farm with horses, I enjoyed watching them. The place was a nice spot for hiking, walking and other outdoorsy activities.
