Everything was very pleasant. The family running the accommodation are lovely, including the (?)teenage children who served some of the meals in the evening. I was very hungry on my last day hiking the Rennsteig as I hadn't had any breakfast or lunch and had walked over 30km (nearly every place serving food was closed en route. Crazy)! So I probably ordered enough for two people. The room was comfortable and the Wifi actually worked! Such a pleasant surprise after basically having no functioning internet at any of the hotels or pensions I stayed at throughout my 8 day Rennsteig hike. The accommodation is easy to find and located not too far away from the town centre. Definitely a good option!

A truly wonderful surprise in this boutique hotel. We were travelling back from a work meeting and stayed overnight here - the restaurant was a delight, with a lovely menu; the bedrooms were comfortable and sparkling clean; the staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was lovely!
