Fichtelberg is surrounded by beautiful forests, with clearly defined walks to follow, using the maps in the accommodation. Favourite places were Fichtelsee, a large lake within walking distance with boating etc and a very good restaurant.
The actual room was great, very clean and spacious, in the centre of Fichtelberg village and near all tourist services in the nature. The staff was friendly alright.
