This hotel is very comfortable and didn't provide any unpleasant surprises, which was a relief after our less-than-pleasant journey from Berlin to Dresden. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and everything functioned perfectly. It's one of the NH chain hotels that we would definitely want to visit again.

The trams were having a few issues while we were there, with roadworks, and shortstaffing, which posed a few problems, especially as we didn't speak much German. But even so, we loved Dresden - it has real character as a city, and is so easy to walk around, especially the old city. There is also some fabulous hiking around Pirna and Stadt Wehlen on the Painter's Way, if that's your thing - they are easily reached by bus, ferry and train, but you need to plan this. And a visit to the Bastei Bridge is an absolute must despite the likely crowds!

Dresden is such a wonderful and clean city. not overcrowded like most tourist hotspots in Europe. There are numerous cultural activities within the city. One highlight is the big open air Elb-Kino open in summer months where you can take in a movie on Friday and Saturday evenings. Another highlight is biking along the Elbe bike path on both sides of the Elbe all the way down to Pirna and beyond.

The city is absolutely stunning and interesting.
The city is absolutely stunning and interesting. I just did not like the people. A woman in a cafe screamed at us thinking we were stealing her umbrella. The next day a group of 5 men (well dressed) were harassing us in a very racist manner. It was my second time in Dresden and the last one 🤷🏻♀️

There is lots and lots to do and see in a beautiful city like Dresden. For young and old the history of my birth place 😍 up the mountain of Saxony Switzerland sächsische Schweiz or down to the river Elbe on one of the oldest Dampfschiff.

Dresden is a trendy city, but watch out because some locals there despise foreigners, even if you are a European tourist, and might even go to the extent to assault you, as what happened to me. Add to that, the local authorities, including the local Police, will favour their local folk over tourists and visitors, so just keep that in mind. Based on personal experience.
One of my favorite hotels in Dresden. The best pillows and a nice breakfast with a lovely view. However, this time the pillow was changed to a classical hotel version - thick pillow that puts your head in an almost vertical position. Additionally, the breakfast on Friday was confusing; it seemed like the fried potatoes from yesterday's breakfast were just reheated and served again. Everyone knows the taste of yesterday's fried potatoes - like shoe soles.
the location of the hotel is right next to the Frauenkirche. we could easily reach everywhere we wanted to visit by walk. the bathtub is huge and deep. I had relaxed a lot after a long walking day. btw, if it’s your first time to visit in Dresden, don’t miss up the best chocolate shop camondas! enjoy the stay 😉
Everything. For sure most perfect place to stay in Dresden for 1-3 days. Amazing breakfast, comforable bed and shower didn,'t see the best location of the hotel and I travelled a lot. And value of money is very reasonable in our days. We felt so good in this hotel that even would lije to back to Dresden :-).
The hotel has a very convinient location - 8 minutes walk from Dresden Neustadt railway station and 5 minutes by tram to the old town (or 20 minutes walk). The room is very modern and clean, the breakfast is really good.
