Everything is amazing about this place. The family who runs the hotel is super friendly. Here Joachim made sure upon our arrival that we have everything we need for breakfast the next day (which btw. was delicious).
The location is amazing, right next to the Town hall. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean, keeping the air from the old building.

Breakfast was good, but as a vegetarian, for a cooked breakfast it was limited for what I could have, i.e. frikadelle, bacon etc just eggs. Although there was still plenty of choice from fruits and pastries.

Really nicely furnished room with a balcony. It was really quiet, we slept very well.
The infinity pool with a view of the Cathedral St. George was very unique. Very nice and special architecture in the attic (wellness). The choice at breakfast was very good. We loved the freshly made Egg Benedict and Pancakes!

Very good small hotel in the city center. Liked it. Can recommend to anyone. Breakfast is rather simple but pretty good too, you can order omelette or fried eggs in addition to buffet. Parking is not allowed new hotel, though you can drop you luggage and park car 300 meters away by walk in free and well organized city parking

We had our dog with us, and the staff went out of their way to make sure she's comfortable. It's a really good place to stay, with or without your dog :).
This historic 4-star hotel is located directly on Dinkelsbühl's famous Weinmarkt square. It offers free Wi-Fi in all areas, free breakfast, and traditional Franconian food.

This is a medieval town walled in with many towers that allow access to the town. Just about every building is photogenic with various beams, window sizes with flower boxes overflowing with flowers, etc. It is a photographer’s dream. But there are also restaurants, cafes, stores, a large, lovely church plus there are lovely gardens, paths, ponds, and woodlands circling the walls on the outside. It would be good for a one or two night visit. There is hoever little parking inside the walls but many parking places outside the walls.

A lovely museum with the history of the town from its beginning and
during the middle ages. Best to leave cars outside the town and walk along the cobblestones.

The hotel property was fantastic!!!!!
The hotel property was fantastic!!!!! Just 4 weeks old it reeks of newness, in a good way. Very friendly staff, they seemed to have a great plan at this early stage for how they want to engage with guests. Almost everyone spoke English which made it very easy to communicate despite the distance from a major population area. The breakfast was included in the price as was unlimited use of the sauna and pool facilities. Not once did my wife complain that we weren't getting our moneys worth :) The warm water pool on the top of the hotel was especially fun after sunset when there are fewer people. My wife had a massage and was ecstatic. She wants to bring her daughter back for a girls only spa weekend. Which brings us to the point of what type of visitors would love this property. Couples seeking romance and relaxation, definitely. We saw couples of all types and singles with their laptops in need of getaway. I only saw one family there but it could be a fun place for them as well.
On the bad side, finding a place for dinner was extremely difficult as every restaurant was solidly booked and required reservation. We ended up at a small place just outside the town gates and well as my mom would say, if you don't have anything good to say just keep quiet. The following morning at breakfast we received the evening menu in the handout. That was a bit of a disappointment as we would have definitely loved to have tried it out. Next time!!
To sum it up, we loved it and expect to return.

Absolutely lovely town.
Absolutely lovely town. Not very touristy, which really allows you to connect with the locals. There was great shopping with many boutiques, great restaurants serving delicious franconian cuisine and great opportunities for photos. I really enjoyed Cafe Haugen, Cafe am Munster, and Vino and Pane. Cafe Central was also fantastic. The town had great hospitality and everyone seemed so friendly here.

Beautiful old walled town.
Beautiful old walled town. Most buildings are preserved and well kept. Beautiful walks all around the many towers and along the riverside. Excellent Tourist Information with guided tours and night watchman tours. For the foot weary there are tours in covered horse-drawn wagons. Plenty of restaurants with several places that serve food they actually cook rather than convenience food. Tiny restaurant with brewery recommended.
First, the hotel is relatively newly renovated and uniquely designed (the swings in the room and swinging bed in the spa area were great). Secondly, the spa area were also very nice and relaxing (although, the pool was unique with great views, but it was a little bit too small during the peak time). Finally, the restaurant was also nice and moderately priced. Would really consider coming back here.
P.S., parking was also comfy
Our first trip to beautiful Dinkelsbühl and our first stay at Hotel Piazza. A great hotel with a great location in the middle of the town, with their own restaurant. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even if only german was spoken and I had to use my school german. We can really recommend a visit to Dinkelsbühl and Hotel Piazza!
Very nice old traditional Pension/Hotel in the heart of Dinkelsbuhl. I've stayed in the village several times over the past 30 years, and it the best location to pause on an extended Romantische Strasse tour. Everything about this part of the world is exemplified with a stay here. The staff took good care of us, and made room for our 4 motorbikes.
In a pretty village, close to the beautiful town of Dinkelsbuhl, this Gasthof had spacious rooms plus baths upstairs, along with good breakfast spreads and typical hearty, delicious German fare in its restaurant. The staff were very polite, kind, and wanting to make our stay as nice as possible.
Doris the hostess and owner made us very welcome and the hotel felt like we were in her own home. Well appointed and large bedroom.
Beautiful breakfasts...specially tailored to each family's needs. Great spots for nightcap and chats. We'll come back in summer. A place we loved.
A big hotel near highway (around 5 minutes away), with reception working until midnight - a big plus as many hotels in the region have last check in at 21 or 22. A great reception with golden cats and lions in old-Egyptian style. Nice room in modern trend. Fast check in.
Altstadtmittehotel Sonne is located in a great location and has a very cozy atmosphere. The breakfast selection was just perfect, and the staff extremely attentive. Our duplex suite had remarkable views, a spacious bathroom and a large comfortable bed.
Breakfast porridge was really nice! I recommend this hotel: good location, nice clean rooms, big bathroom, enough place to store the luggages. Also internet speed was good. Owners are friendly and share many stories. Also, the hotel cat is great!
The room was not directly in the hotel . The location was in the building beside but connected to the hotel. The room was nice . The breakfast was very good too. You are in the center of Dinkelsbühl. Dinkelsbühl is a beautiful town.
Perfectly situated in a historic house in the historic old town of Dinkelsbühl - very quaint.
Unusually for small-town-Germany, in-house dining (and in-house craft brewery) with decent opening hours.
Perfect location to explore this pretty town. Room was very clean and comfortable, although separated from the main hotel building where reception is.
Breakfast was a short walk to the main hotel.
Great location with parking nearby though outside town it is within walking distance. Breakfast is superb with plenty of choices and tasty food and fruits.
Very nice hotel, great location very close to the center of the village, everything is perfectly clean, and they have a really great breakfast selection.
