Nice find as a stopover really. There was a small Christmas market which we did not expect. It was wet and cold but it looks like a lovely place in summer.

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the main railway station, which is very close. This makes it a convernient place to stop-over on a long train journey or when making an early start by train. Although the hotel is adjacent to the bus station and close to the railway station, I found my room well sound-proofed and very quiet. The room was a good size and had all the facilities I needed. The staff were helpful and pleasant and spoke good English when my German was lacking. The buffet breakfast was good and the breakfast area not too crowded.

Lovely quiet room and comfortable bed. Close to railway station but in a peaceful neighbourhood with a great view of the Rhine. And the boiled eggs at breakfast were just the way I like them.

The traditional rooms at the Weinhaus Fries boast a scenic view of the Moselle River and Castle Thurant. The hotel serves its own wine on the sun terrace set on the banks of the river.
Set in a small village in the Mosel wine valley, a very well kept place, the hotel/restaurant was perfect for our stop-over on our route towards Spain. We got a very warm welcome, the lady was particularly friendly and helpful. We were lucky to park off road, check in and have a traditional style dinner there. The room upstairs was spacious with a comfortable bed and small, well equipped bathroom. We decided to take breakfast which was also complete, delicious and abundant.
This hotel is in a beautiful little town. Our room had a balcony and had lovely views over the garden . We had the buffet meal in the dining room and the head waiter was so helpful re the food options and wine . His English was excellent , sadly our German is shocking. Our 2 dogs were allowed in the dining room with us at meal times . Will definitely return .
A very well maintained hotel directly on the Moselle. A very family run hotel. Breakfast was very good. Shopping facilities are also within walking distance ( Netto ).

A lovely hotel on the banks of the Mosel river. The room we used was immaculately clean and very spacious. There was a fan in the room to help with the heat, it was most welcome. Great location, facilities and cleanliness. Excellent all round.
Outstanding hotel - facilities were excellent especially the pool and sauna. Food and service were also very good - special mention to Petra who looked after us at breakfast (outstanding customer service). Plan on coming back.
