Everything about this apartment was perfect. We were given a lovely welcome by the host. The apartment was spotless, spacious and was fully equipped in every respect. The kitchen was super clean, had new dishes, cutlery and glassware. The hosts made us log fires each afternoon/evening and there were also heated radiators. There is a very comfortable lounge and dining area, but one can also eat in the kitchen. The photos did not really do the apartment justice! There is a delightful terrace and the lounge and kitchen both overlook the terrace and the cared for garden. Parking is easy. We would definitely return here if we were in the area again.

Daaden is a quite and small village close to Bitzdorf and Seigen. It has good number of retail outlets, which are cheap for your pocket. Public transportation is an issue though, as the village is not on the main trainline (nearest main train station is Bitzdorf 11 km away; average 28 euros by taxi. The village is surrounded by forests and lakes. During the heatwave, temperature there was 35 degrees centigrade, when it was 42 in other cities in the region, hence it is cooler.
The hotel exceeds our exception with their excellent service, well maintain interior and great food their restaurant provides, made we really enjoyed our stay in Daaden, and would definitely recommend the place to our friends.
