It was a great place. I really enjoyed staying there. The owners of the hotel/Gasthaus were very friendly. I really enjoyed talking with them. They had a very funny dog.
The hotel was pretty clean. I really liked the traditional atmosphere of the building and the restaurant. There were beautiful flowers on each window which added to the beauty of the place.
The breakfast was really delicious especially the home made jam.

Bad food and really bad service from the Reception and in the restaurant. Reception would not share information on relevant activities in the area, e.g. outdoor public swimbad 1 km from the hotel. We asked two persions in reception over two days and the refused to tell what was evident on Google map. And was a really nice public swim bath.

We were hoping to experience a robust Christmas market in Breisach am Rhein, but it was extremely small & not worth attending. I was sorely disappointed as websites said it was supposed to be wonderful.

We enjoyed visiting the area it’s been quite a while since our last visit.
We were too early for the Christmas markets but equally managed to miss the crowds.
Locals were helpful and friendly.
Colmar and Freiburg were both good places to visit and eat.

Beautiful hotel in upper town overlooking the Rhine. Easy free parking outside. We ate dinner in the hotel and it was excellent as was the service. There is a lovely bar in the hotel where we had drinks after dinner rather than go down into the lower town. Room very spacious with view of the church to one side and Rhine on the other. Excellent breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay. The area around the hotel is lovely, opposite the church with fantastic views over the river, town and surrounding country side
The guesthouse is really cozy and the staff was very helpful and friendly. At first I was a bit disappointed it is located in the middle of nowhere and this hotels seems to be the only lively place around, everything else is basically dead silent. however, I took a walk into the city (10km both ways) and enjoyed the local trails. The room is basic, clean and has everything you need for one night stay.
The hotel is an historic building right in the center of the town. Clean, comfortable, and very helpful staff. They even let me use their garden hose to wash off my very muddy bicycle - above and beyond!
Breakfast was very well handled, and conformed to all necessary regulations. It was actually one of the best breakfasts I've had since the start of the restrictions.
Hotel restaurant has excellent location in Breisach. Simple room , good quality.
Food is focussed on local , traditional cooking absolutely delicious. Nice eating area outside - worth a visit even if you do not stay at the hotel. Great breakfast.
All staff very friendly. Great value for money.
Very roomy studio with 2 floors. 2 large beds that were very good, very soft (memory foam?).
We arrived late and still were very welcome.
The hotel takes care of the environment; electric cars can be charged (for free!) and there are also charging points for electric bikes.

the Rhein view is gorgeous, big room, big bathroom, communication with stuff excellent, a very good hotel. The breakfast options are amazing. The wellness / swimmingpool now opens early, which makes a great difference!!
Greeted with a smile. They are a popular hotel for cyclists and knew exactly what my requirements would be. My dinner on the veranda was delicious and the service first class. Would definitely stay again.
