From arrival to check out the staff was excellent. We selected HP and was very happy with the food. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Dinner Buffet was more than expected. Five course meal was above and beyond what was expected.

The hosts were an absolutely lovely couple. Their property is beautiful and has everything that you need. The location is best if you have a car. It's not really the most visited place by foreign tourists. Although it's within walking distance to the main centre of Bodenmais if you can walk approximately 1km with a slight hill.
Very friendly staff, very clean, good location - perfect for hiking to the Rissloch waterfalls or Arber.
Breakfast was excellent, atmosphere is very cozy.
The hotel has everything one needs, at very fair prices.
