We currently live in Munich and had never visited the Schwarzwald - so this was our first weekend there. It was very enjoyable and very much helped by knowing that we had a great little appartment to come back to in the evening.
Probably the most complete/convenient facility I have ever had/stayed in any hotel, B&B and holiday houses around the world. Probably even more items available than in my own house. From kitchen gear to equipment like microwave/oven/coffeemaker/dishwasher to the whole set up of the house in general. Everything you need (and don't need) It's all there.
Supermarket and take away food very nearby. Very convenient private place to stay for a holiday in the black forest.
Very friendly staff who, great food and the entire building was very clean. Even thought it was mid week and there were very few people staying in the Hotel there was still a good choice for breakfast.
