Pension Sommer is difficult to assess in terms of the average tourist point of view.
For accommodation, the average tourist always want a good location that is not far away from amenities and sites of attraction. This is not the case with Pension Sommer as it is located in the countryside farmland in the outskirts of Berlin.
However, if what you like is peace and quiet in the countryside, then Pension Sommer is an ideal place.
It takes 1 hour to walk from Pension Sommer to the nearest train stop. Walking through the countryside villages in the morning and in the quietness of the night, feeling the aromas of crops and the pine forest around was like a Zen experience, I loved it.
Pension Sommer cottages are very cozzie, even quipped with sauna if you visit it in winter, they have all what you need for a pleasant countryside stay.
Furthermore, the host Mr Lothar Sommer is an ornithologist, we have in common the love for birds. And someone who is devoted to the care of birds can only be a good person and a gentleman.
If you live in a town and have children who do not have much contact with nature, then Pension Sommer has that something extra, your children will be amazed to be in close contact with exotic birds.
To sum up, if what you want is a peace&quiet countryside stay, then Pension Sommer comes as highly recommended.

This is the nicest little hotel. Most of the rooms are above the Eiscafé where they serve their fabulous homemade ice cream concoctions, their original distilled whisky, and their own microbrewery beers. The eiscafé is open for hours that should never disturb anyone's sleep, and the area is so tranquil. Staff are lovely, and the village is moderate size (approx. 11k) with several local restaurants, cafés, and shops in walking distance.
A hotel with a personal park - what's not to love? A new annex building, everything new and squeaky clean.

I paid Paulinen Hof Seminarhotel with cash to the amount of €128.70 on departure.
On Monday 28/2/2022 the amount €129 was taken out of my bank account. So now I have paid for the room twice. Can you help.
I stayed at the Pension for almost a week and it provided everything I needed. Great communication and directions on checking in after hours - so many things seamless and very pleasant. I would recommend it for anyone staying in Bad Belzig.
