Bad Schönborn is close to the motorway which suited me as I was travelling north from Switzerland and needed a night's break. The hotel restaurant was closed (I believe because of staff shortage) but I used a very good Italian restaurant nearby. I didn't have time to explore the area but it seems a popular holiday area whilst remaining quiet.

Quite a quiet town but we always felt welcome. There seem to be quite a few restaurants to choose from but our favourite was Da Renato. The food is really good and the staff are very friendly and welcoming

I read a review on here moaning about the language barrier at this hotel, this is not true, the staff here had much better English than my attempt at German.

It was a pleasure to stay at the ERCK- Flair Hotel & Restaurant. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the sweet bar, and as parents, we appreciated the lounge room where we could unwind with a drink in the evening. The breakfast was also excellent.
Very pleasant and hospitable staff. The woman at the reception is very polite and cultured. The check-in went well, everything was explained and told. Good breakfasts. Very clean hotel. Good parking. I liked it all very much. I definitely recommend!

Great hotel with comfortable rooms and a great restaurant, located right next to a super nice local park with art installations and a nice little stream running through. We had a great room with balcony.
A lovely small hotel, friendly owners. Breakfast was great. The atmosphere is cosy. There is a large sitting room for guests where you can have a drink and snack, or just sit.
