This is not a 4-star hotel, it is to large extent simple in its rooms and facilities but a place with amazing history from about 1000 A.D. to East German times. If you enjoy remarkable places but do not require polished 3-star (or above) conditions, this place might amaze you. I would have loved to roam the castle buildings as a kid. Extremely courteous and hard-working staff. Even though we arrived after the official closing time for reception - there was no problem at all. Very clean room and the whole hotel. Good offer in the restaurant and a very tasty and varied breakfast.
