We were amazed by the shower - the showerhead emitted light of changing colors when using it. The room was very large, with a shared balcony and a hint of a lake behind a line of trees. The bed was very comfortable, the furniture (simple) and bathroom (nice) seemed very new. Furinture in staircase and aisle pure kitsch.

The location by the lake is beautiful and I'm quite sure I'll spend some more days there soon. The town "Himmelpfort" is fun because the post office is the "official" address of Germany's Santa; the main attraction are the four or five lakes around town. Nearby Furstenberg is easy to reach (3 miles or so) and has some good and cheap grocery stores. All in all a positive experience.

What an amazing place! it feels like in a movie. it is located in a beautiful villa from the beginning of 20th century. you are greeted by an owner and get a short tour around the house and omg, there’s a lot too see. Amazing interior decoration is somehow harmonious and and highly esthetic, even if it might seem overwhelming at the pictures. I really loved this “more is more” approach it suits the villa perfectly and creates a magical, movie-like atmosphere. Our apartment was really comfortable, with great bed and good quality sheets. I felt really well rested after my stay. Breakfast is great, you eat in a beautiful room with big windows facing east. Lots of morning sun, exquisite service and good quality food. You will not leave hungry. Property is located in a charming little town between two lakes. beautiful old forest and nice beach by the lake.
