The cloister is unique, in very nice location within the lake area of Bavaria near Chiemsee. Seeon has a extraordinary historical and spiritual atmosphere. The reconstruction of the hotel was costly, perfect and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent incl. domestic honey, pretzels and local bread. Little higher cost of the hotel but appropriate to the "genuis loci" of the whole histrical place wmebdded in a beautiful preserved nature.

Amazing the building, in the past it was a huge hotel, enormus ceiling height, strange rooms! Funny furnitures! The breakfast was in a separate room, where I was total alone! Huge parking behind the building! Kind old owners, who helped me around!

Pleasant hotel, well located, free parking, comfortable bed, we stayed in a spacious room with balcony and a little kitchen. If you wish to unlock the kitchen there is an extra 8€ fee; we didn't use it but think the price is fair enough. Rooms have heater but no air conditioner (could be difficult to sleep if you're traveling during the hottest Summer days). Good value for money!
