Second time in this hotel!!! and for sure not the last one! We love this place, the staff, the cleanest, the design of the room, the near by ski rental place, the closenest to snowtubing activity and their ski lift and the cafe. This time we even understood that there is a streight walking way to the centre and it is really close by. The Hotel has very good with very tasty food restaurant with very kind working staff there. the snooker and bar opened until 22:00.

The dinner was not included and I would usually not include it to the review, but the food was superb (grilled fish for example) and I can only recommend it. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast served at Restaurace Farma. The culinary offerings were a true delight, with a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes that tantalized my taste buds each morning. The stylish ambiance of the restaurant added to the dining experience, making each meal feel like a special occasion.
In addition to the exceptional dining options, the breathtaking views from my room were simply mesmerizing. Waking up to the sight of towering mountains and lush forests was a surreal experience that left me feeling rejuvenated and inspired.

I love Špindl, excellent place to relax at any time of the year. Village is very cosy, lots of nice accommodations, restaurants, easy to rent the skis or bike. Excellent for hiking, skiing, biking. Of course, not comparable to big ski resorts in the Alps, but small and cosy, almost empty during the working days of the week (if it's not schools'ski vacation). It's not so high in altitude (the top is 1230m), so snow conditions need to be good in order to enjoy the slopes.

Špindlerův mlýn (the town, not talking about surroundings) is an ugly relict of 90's, and I don't see any reason why anyone should go there (Winter or Summer, doesn't matter). Go anywhere else in Krkonose, but for god's sake avoid this ugly town (unless the only thing you care about is skiing).

The city has plenty of activities for all age ranges. We went in September, so no skiing trip.
You can rent bikes, kickbikes, electric scooters, take the cable chair to the top of the mountains. There are plenty of bar and restaurants, all sorts of cuisines (saw pizza, pasta, mexican, burgers, grills, fancy and down to earth)
There are plenty of easy trails that allow for a buggy, which we took advantage of, since we visited with a 1-year old.

We really liked how dog-friendly the city is. You can walk into any restaurant with your pooch and everything will be OK. But the city is fairly small and there really isn't much to do other than eat and drink in between your hikes/rides/skiing.

The pension is based a bit outside of Špindlerův Mlýn but still in touch with the city center.

Hotel is located in the very center of Spindleruv Mlyn, less than 1 km from both cable cars, which makes a great location both for hiking and just walking around the city. A lot of good restaurants nearby. The hotal also a large parking next to it, which is useful since nearly all parking in the town is paid.
Great Central location for shops... ski hire , and bus stops right outside the hotel front door.. which will take you to all the ski lifts.. the hotel restaurant was excellent.. breakfast was fantastic .. and staff are super helpful... top spot Ray and zena England : ))
Great hotel with excellent care, very clean and nice rooms. Very recommend for a ski vacation or other travelers that don't stay much inside. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a supermarket in 2 minutes walk so you can make you own lunch and dinner.
Amazing property in the heart of mountain resort. Perfect view from our room, amazing restaurant with good selection of food, great spa with jacuzzi, saunas and swimming pool. Hotel has own ski rental and individual cameras for ski storage for each room.
Wonderful location,at the very center of the town,so every skibus should pass this stop. Very pleasant and nice owners. The room itself was more like an apartment then a hotel room,there was a small kitchen inside,wardrobe at the corridor and bathroom.
Most of the staff was friendly, especially at he bar, and not to forget old cleaning lady who was always smiling. The hotel is good value for the money. Unfortunately that cannoy be said for the whole area when it comes to the prices for skiing.
I like this hotel because it is located in the very center of the village and has kept its original architecture despite modernization. You can use the car park, which is important in the center of the village.
The owners and all staff were exceptionally nice to us, always taking care of what we asked for. Food amazing. Staying for dinner on their terrase with the wonderful view of Spindleruv Mlyn was priceless.
