This is a wonderfully natural place, at the edge of an old forest where deer roam and birds don't stop signing.
You become so far away from the city yet so eager to keep exploring. Wild flowers, old trees, rock formations and pilgrimage sites surround the cottage within walking distance.
The cottage has an absolutely wonderful traditional tile stove with a lying area for two adults on top. Once the stove warms up, it's almost impossible to leave. It heats up the whole house quickly and lasts all night. In winter, it might require additional wood throughout the night.
The cottage has been partially rebuilt and renovated personally by the owner and his son to a good standard. The furniture and equipment is functional, simple and tasteful. The double insulated windows sound wonderful during rain and in warmth allow for a gentle audible reminder of the many bird songs outside.

This location is good for people who want to explore the northern part of České Švycarsko and the Šluknov region. They also have a good brewery with its own restaurant, and they have grocery stores in the center of town that maintain good opening hours.

Small town in the middle of nowhere.
Small town in the middle of nowhere. But well managed, obviously. The quality of public space is above the average in Czechia, especially taking into account the size of the town.
Perfect location for trips to the national park named "Czech Switzerland" but also to further destinations in Czechia and Germany (Saxony).

Pretty little town which is a good starting point for exploring Bohemian Switzerland. There are buses but a car is really a must. Not much choice in terms of places to eat but bigger towns are nearby. Tourist information centre is very helpful.
We booked an apartment at the penzion, but got upgraded to a superb aparthotel apartment on arrival.
The apartment was huge, with all you could need for a long stay. The kitchen was very modern and equipped with all you could possibly need, the living room was enormous, spacious rooms and a huge 30m balcony with sitting corner. The breakfast was excellent also, in the complex’s beautiful restaurant.
The location is excellent, right in the center of the town, which is a great starting point for many local attractions
Possibly the best equipped holiday flat we've ever stayed in! Full range of kitchen equipment including a very good coffee machine, a washing machine (useful on a cycling holiday), super comfy beds, a secure garage for our bicycles. Even a bottle of wine as a welcome gift on our arrival :) The little town Krasna Lipa is a great base for exploring "Bohemian Switzerland" and has shops, restaurants and the Tourist Information where you can get maps etc.
Great place to stay in if you're visiting České Švýcarsko, close enough to all places worth seeing, with beautiful route to them from Krásná Lípa. The apartment is close to the center of a town and an excellent local brewery, yet the surroundings are quiet. Owners were really nice, welcoming us with a small gift and sharing precious tips when we were planning our sightseeing.
Breakfast was great, room was super nice. The tourist trails near Krasna Lipa are awesome, less people than the famous Ceske Svycarsko ones but also very interesting. Appreciate the restaurant kitchen was open till 22 on Sunday.
Nice and calm location close to the forest. The breakfast was rich (eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, sweet cake, etc.) and was reffiled.
Note for future visitors - keys are collected at the brewery Falkenstejn in Krasna Lipa.
It is a nice hotel in a cute and small city. The stuff is very frendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the city center which is confortable to reach the tram stations but at the same time it is not noisy in the rooms.
Hotel employees are really friendly and they offer small refreshments at reception. Apartment are quite big and stylish. Breakfast and dinner are included in the room price and they offer buffet which quite surprised me 😃

The location and aesthetics are wonderful. The house is beautiful too. The town is quaint and beautiful but there is another town nearby along with the famous spots in Krasna lipa
