The location is ideal. I did not have a car and the city sights, museums and restaurants were within walking distance. Mambo beach is 10 mins taxi drive away and about 40 mins walk back.
The suites are well kept and properly furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The view was great. The poolside food was very good. The staff at the hotel were particularly helpful and kind, especially Cailin at the Reception desk. The staff are also very kind to the fauna around the location.
I spent more time at the hotel than outdoors on this trip (probably 60%) and the time at the hotel Enabled me to relax in a quiet environment. Yet, when I wanted I could go to the poolside bar to relax in a fun atmosphere.

Very good location in an upcoming part of Willemstad, within walking distance to all the main sights in the town, and close to both bus terminals. The room was very comfortable, with all the amenities that we might have needed (though the private bathroom was separate and not ensuite). Access to shared kitchen and a coffee/tea making machine available 24/7 was a nice bonus. Excellent breakfast on the terrace. Very helpful owners who arranged everything we needed (airport transfers, a boat trip to Klein Curacao etc). Most of all, welcoming atmosphere and genuine local spirit. Not everything was perfect, but we felt a part of the place and it was natural to blend in the local environment.

The room was nice, we were lucky and we stayed in one in the first floor, so we didn't need to climb the stairs. The location was good and we were able to go to the center by walking (even with a car, walk is the best way to reach the center).

Boutique Hotel 't Klooster is set in Pietermaai, Willemstad and is housed in a former monastery. The property features a plunge pool and a comfortable courtyard boasting an elegant lounge area.
Lovely place owned by lovely people. Just awesome scenery with a great pool, many plants, trees and animals. Our hut was very spacious, cozy and clean. Loved the shower too. And last but not least, the breakfast was probably among the best I've ever had in any hotel or lodge. All freshly prepared, with a daily changing special and loads of other options, and served by people that were super nice and helpful. I'd really recommend this place to anyone, especially if you've rented a car!
the whole complex of blue bay was excelent. My husband used the golf course for a very reasonable price, the beach of the hotel was very nice as well.
if we ever come back, we would definitevely stay here again.
