I had an amazing stay at Jungle Lodge Hotel! It's super quiet and private, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool area is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery. There are lots of animals and nature everywhere, making it feel like a true jungle retreat.
The air is incredibly fresh and pure, which made every moment refreshing. The walking trail is fantastic, offering stunning views and a great nature experience. Plus, it's pet friendly, so I could bring my furry friend along.
Overall, a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy nature! Highly recommend!

We were so pleasantly surprised by this little oasis. My daughters (5,10) and I had a wonderful stay. We absolutely loved our accommodations and the direct access to the beach- no shoes needed to walk from villa to beach! Breakfast was simple and delicious. Hammocks near the beach and loungers on the beach made it very comfortable to hang out by the water. Incredible ocean views.

The beaches in Santa Teresa were beautiful and not too crowded. Playa Mal Pais was not as nice. Santa Teresa was a bit touristy for my taste, but the one restaurant that we went to was really good. It was called Lora Amarilla. It was at the end of the road to the beach. I highly recommend it.

It's beautiful. Relaxed and easy to be there.
It's beautiful. Relaxed and easy to be there. The beaches are pretty untouched. It's not just Mal Pais, it's the whole Santa Teresa area. Perhaps a bit overcooked with a lot of young people - but don't let that bother you, it's an awesome holiday.
Try Eat Street for delicous vegan bowls and not too bad wine. And if you are a pizza lover, then you must try Amicci. I'd say they are up there with the top Neopolitan style pizzas around the world.
The beach life is of course the main attraction. My partner surfs and I sunbathe on the beach. Best of both worlds if you ask me. My favourite beach in the area is Playa Hermosa which is more family oriented and quieter.

We only intended to stay in Mal Pais for 2 days then move to Santa Teresa, but we stayed for a week.
Super easy to get to the surf beaches (15 mins walk along beach or 5 min quad/bike)
Amazing ‘secret’ beach near fisherman’s village.
The most beautiful beaches ever, monkeys in trees, pelicans in the water, lizards on the rocks. Just beautiful!
In Mal Pais, when the ride is low, it creates amazing Little Rock pools to bathe in to watch the sunset!
Super chilled and close to all the surf and restaurants
Amazing surroundings and gorgeous rooms. The only thing we missed is some basic supplies in the room, like coffee, thee sugar. It is important to note that the rooms have their own kitchen with all supplies and a big fridge, but you need to bring grosseries. As we arrived late in the storm, we could not eat or dribk anything here. Upside, around the hotel there are great restaurants, walking distance, all open u till 9pm.
Breakfast was perfect and the staff very nice and friendly. Rooms are decorated stylefull and very clean.
Everything was perfect! Clean, great location between Santa Teresa and Mal Pais, close to the beach (there is a very good restaurant across the hotel),friendly and helpful staff. I only stayed one night, but next time I’ll make sure I stay longer in this little corner of paradise.
The hut was beautiful and had a great view. The breakfast was well made and the hosts were nice enough to help us with anything we needed. There is a small walkway across the hotel that leads to the beach, so you’ll have easy access.
The pool with swim upto bar. the facilities and the amazing view.
Accommodation was spacious, had a coffee machine & a private terrace to enjoy the view.
You do need transport to get around from the hotel.ATV’s can be rented here.
