There is basically not much to see in Neiva from a turistic point of view. They have an archeological museum but it is closed at the weekends. The waterfront is pretty badly maintained and not much of the river water can be seen. Some of the food vendors in the market take advantage of the foreigners and double the prices. Unless you are really interested in seeing what this city looks like, it is not worth it. The place is hot, with temperatures of 32-34 in the day and 22-23 during the night.

Really not much to to do there. Busy downtown area like most Colombian cities, few things to see by the riverside. 1 day is more than enough. Climate hot and humid.

Neiva looks sad, abandoned, and dangerous. There is nothing interesting to see. Stay away. I stayed there one night and it was too long. Certain hotels show pictures that do not represent reality. Don’t fall for it.

There is not much to visit in this town.
There is not much to visit in this town. Also it is quite dirty in many tourist spots. For the first time in Colombia I had the impression, that some people are extremely unfriendly. My recommendation is, if You have to go there, stay only as long as necessary and leave the town as soon as possible.
For me the Tatacoa desert is also no place that You have to visit. I was quite disappointed.
There is one bus company, that serves most places: Coomotor.
These people are very unfriendly.
Fast easy check-in. We were arriving late in Neiva and were happy to find this hotel last minute. The guy at the reception was very friendly and helpful. He helped us with our luggage, tried to make us feel welcome and comfortable. He spoke also English what is not so common in Colombia. The price was very reasonable for what we got.
The hotel is close to the center. There are various restaurants, Cafes and a big supermarket close by.
The location was terrible, gritty, homeless sleeping just outside. No hotel restaurant open on a Sunday and in am breakfast was poor and served in a stifling hot room with no fan or ac.
Pillows were hard ND Air conditioning had no control , only one level so we froze in room with no blanket. Generally this was the one place in Columbia we did not enjoy.
I'm here for a week while my GF does her studies and Im gonna do another week. The place is clean, safe, quiet with good tv, aire conditioned, excellent breakfasts on the roof, centrally located with Exito store 100m, I love this place..the gym is great too I've been 4 days in the gym .just a great hotel enuff said.,
I recommend staying here! I liked the value of this place, it was relatively inexpensive and I was able to stay for Semana Santa experiencing all the sights neiva had to offer. The lady who cleans the rooms has exceptionally good customer service and taught me a lot about the city and chat. Thanks very much for that!
This is a great stop off point when travelling through Neiva. The service and rooms are excellent. The jacuzzi/spa is lovely and relaxing. The terraza is a wonderful place for an evening drink. The breakfast was delicious. Good wifi and shared public areas made it ideal for a little work too.
It's a good budget hotel. Late checkout. Good AC. Nice cafe two blocks south, and you can walk to the bus station less than 10 minutes. Location looks worse than reality, just a bunch of motorcycle repair shops on the street. People are friendly. We felt safe.
The staff is the kindest I have met so far, and the facilities are clean, comfortable, and very cosy with a Christmas theme. Our baby got sick and the hotel staff did their utmost to help us get medical attention, that meant the world to us.
Holds what it promises, clean confortable, simple rooms. The staff was very nice and looked out for our safety. There is a nice Italian restaurant right next to the hotel, so if you don‘t feel safe in the area you don‘t have to walk far.
the room is spacious and the bathroom. everything was clean. the bed was REALLY comfortable. there was a fan (which is nice because Neiva is really hot). I also liked the way the host handled the check-in. there are restaurants nearby.
