We absolutely adored our stay at Cabana Momotus. It is so tastefully decorated and set in a beautiful location. We honestly didn't want to leave. Paula the host is so helpful and friendly. She even provided breakfast as we forgot to bring some.

Comfortable bed and decent swimming pool area, plus games room. Pity the jacuzzi is only half full. Why not fill it up to the top like normal? Also the sauna looked like it wasn't working, we never saw it on.

Good description how to get there but it would be useful to know that it is 1,5 km very very steep walk uphill and taxis were not available at my arrival time at 5.00 pm. They didn't offer to pick me up or organising transport for me.

The food was amazing, and they offer many activities to do during your stay.
My room was called "La Clarita" and it had a spectacular view of the natural forest and lake. I would strongly recomend visiting this hotel if you are looking to get away from Medellin for a weekend or if you intend visiting Guatape.
