A beautiful hotel with a large, clean swimming pool. Everything is very clean and well tended. The mattresses on the sunbeds were very comfortable with lots of different seating options. However, I can only give it a 6-7 as there was no lock on my door, so anyone could walk in day or night. The owner bombarded me with 33 messages and photos before I arrived, including a menu. Complete overkill. 1 message confirming arrival date and check in is enough. They don't take credit cards so payment was an unnecessary nightmare with the owner insisting I paid half the day before arrival with a bank transfer through Wompi and then another bank transfer after arrival. Shame.

Beautifully decorated hotel reasonably close to the center. The room was nice and quiet with a comfortable bed and nice shower. I appreciated the tv with sports streaming. The pool area looks nice. The breakfast is nice and filling.

Santa Fe is a beautiful old town, with truly original Spanish colonial architecture. Really better explored by walking, or maybe a 3 wheel motorized cart, or motorcycle, but not by car. There is very little parking, and the narrow roads in the old center don't accommodate 4 wheel vehicles. We found excellent restaurants using Google maps, inexpensive to very affordable. We enjoyed the Museo Juan de Corral for local history. The churches are very beautiful.

I haven't stayed in Santa Fe de Antioquia for a long time, they have done an excellent job improving the tourist sites and the quality of the restaurants. I was surprised by the quality of the craft brewery that works in the main square.

A beautiful town with great ambience, from the picturesque Plaza Major, the streets around, to Plaza Menor. There are lots of small cafes to enjoy delicious jugos, great coffees and cakes plus satisfying meals. I wish we’d had longer in order to explore a bit more and also simply to relax. .. it’s perfect for that. The tourist information office is extremely helpful, justly proud of their town.

We liked the fact that it is a traditional colonial village with very few tourists. A great zocalol (square) with with trees and large blooming bushes. Many people gathered in the square at night when it was cooler.

It's a beautiful, relaxing town. It's somewhere to go when you want to relax and slow down and not do too much. The architecture of the town is beautiful, the main park is lovely and there are many good places to eat.

Beautiful premises, and our room had a great view overlooking the pool (sadly that also meant we were right above quite loud salsa music that went on until late, perhaps because it was a Saturday, but the hotel wasn't as quiet as we expected. I honestly love salsa music—just not past 11 PM when I'm trying to sleep).
The staff was very friendly, and the location was great too: close to the centre of Santa Fe yet in a more quiet area. The room was very clean.
The hotel has an excellent location, next to the police station. I was alone at the hotel and they did allow me an early check-in due to this. They received me with a cocktail and I appreciate that. The room was comfy, it had TV with cable, air conditioner, and its own bathroom. The hotel also has a good space, the pool looks clean and next to it they have a bar where you can order beverages for an extra cost. The breakfast is good for the price.
The location of the property was fine, we walked around in the evening and felt totally comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet area. The beds were comfortable, the room was very clean. The staff that work there are lovely and the pool area looked really nice too, although we didn't use it. The air conditioning worked well. Lots of parking. The hotel feels new.
Location of the hotel is great, just a couple of blocks from the main square. The facilities are well above what can be expected for the price paid. However, the main highlight was the staff of the hotel; Kelly, Lorena, Sandra in the kitchen, and the rest of their staff sure know how to make a guest feel welcomed and as family. Kudos to all of them.
Our visit to Hotel Santa Barbara Colonial in Santa Fe de Antioquia was remarkable. The hotel's colonial charm, coupled with modern comforts, provided a perfect romantic setting. Its central location allowed easy exploration of the city’s rich history and culture.
The rooms radiated a blend of elegance and comfort, offering a tranquil escape.
Breakfast and location were fantastic. The staff was great too! I'm used to staying in hostels, so I was surprised by the amount of space that I had to my self. They had a pool as well, and that was good. The waffles at breakfast were the best I had in Colombia! The staff let me store some water in the freezer as well. That was kind of them.
The staff were very attentive and the vibe by the pool was awesome. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. Great location and a short walk to the main plaza. The staff even arranged a tour for me and two other guests to go see the puente occidental. I think this hotel is excellent value for what is costs.
This hotel is quiet, clean, and comfortable. The room was huge and extremely well decorated with antiques, etc. Loved the pool and poolside attention from the staff. Cocktails were nothing special but it was nice to have the option. It is also near the center but far enough away to be quiet.
