Perfect base to go see the Great Wall. I did this on a 144 hour long layover visa and it worked flawlessly. They'll pick you up from the airport, give you free breakfast and cook you a delicious dinner, then charge everything at the end! Such a kind and beautiful family. They even shuttled me to the ticket office and back. Can't recommend enough!

Flower Yard is a great place. The room was clean,the bed was soft and the owners Angel and Tony were very helpful. The breakfast was great(eggs,fruit,rice,dumplings, bread, jam, coffee was very nice) Great location and easy to get around. Angel helped us to booked all great wall tickets for us. Tony took up from homestay to the mutianyu Great Wall and picked us up from mutianyu Great wall when we finished our trip. I would like to express my warm thanks to Angel and Tony. Thank you Angel and Tony, we had a great time at Flower Yard. I highly recommend this place. If you want to visit the mutianyu great wall, this place is best place to stay. And if we will visit beijing and we will stay here again.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lady of the house, whose culinary skills shone through the most delectable stir fry meal, providing much-needed comfort after our journey from Hong Kong. Her warmth set the tone for the homestay's hospitable atmosphere. The homestay's proximity to the Mutianyu Great Wall allowed us to enjoy a peaceful stroll through the charming village. We relished the opportunity to explore the historic grounds at our leisure, away from the typical crowds, thanks to the pre-arranged tickets and the convenience of private transport. The luxury of being chauffeured to the Great Wall in a Mercedes Benz, with prompt drop-off and pick-up service, added an element of exclusivity to our adventure. I wholeheartedly recommend this homestay to anyone planning to witness the magnificence of the Great Wall. The serene location, combined with the family's genuine hospitality, ensures a remarkable experience. We're already looking forward to our return next year.

Stayed there only for 1 night on April, but was charmed by the vibe and authenticity. Room has all necessary stuff for staying, it’s cozy, with traditional details in interior. Also you can participate in master classes: cook dumplings or make traditional lucky sache). Owners made it perfect for guests to have the whole cultural experience. Great Wall is close, and the views are amazing. If you go by yourself on subway, it’s a bit hard to get. Better prepare in advance. On taxi it took 1,5 hour. But the location is worth it.
