I slept like a baby in this authentic farmhouse, in which I felt like going back in time (but with a new bathroom). There is something peaceful about this place, which is not about luxury and extras, but about grounding and connection. The hosts were welcoming and warmhearted and the breakfast was made of local products. They farm cows, pigs and spelt, and you can visit a cheese making demonstration in the village (lovely 20-Minute-Walk) and a mill in the region (accessible by bus). We loved the apartment and the wonderful hospitality. They provided us with all kinds of delicious dairy products straight from their facility! There were lots of dishes, cooking supplies, towels etc. The beds were comfortable, and it was clean and quiet.

Beautiful chalet with lovely rooms which were all super clean. Lovely sitting areas in the rooms and a lovely dining room with tea and coffee facilities. The host of DeHeimelig was excellent and helped us with things to do in the area and places to eat.

The appartment was spacious and cosy. In my opinion it looks better than on the pictures. However we were just there for 1 night, it is perfect for a longer stay as well. The owner was so friendly and even prepared some handmade beers in the fridge. Thank you! :)
