The most beautiful views, a really great breakfast, lovely staff and a very calm and welcoming environment all over!
Located in the centre of Vitznau, Hotel Rigi is right next to the station of the cog railway and about 50 metres from the pier on Lake Lucerne. WiFi is available free of charge.

The staff were wonderful, extremely friendly. We loved spending time at the hotel. We also had a wonderful dinner there. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The location is excellent, just opposite the train station in Vitznau.
The Seehof du Lac is situated in the centre of Weggis and only 25 km from Luzern, on one of the loveliest spots on Lake Lucerne. Guests can enjoy a large lakeside lounge with direct lake access.

If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go.
If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go. I've seen a review saying it was crowded, but October 2023 it was not, it was very quiet so if you want a bustling vibe it's not for you! I think in summer it may be more of a popular spot.

Nice small city, with amazing view to the lake. There is one of the stations for a train to Rigi mountain. It is more than a breaht taking views from the top of the mountin or during the travel by the train or by yhe Cable Car.

Peaceful and plenty to see and walk around Rigi.
Peaceful and plenty to see and walk around Rigi. Train is expensive because to go up and down you need to buy an all day ticket! However, you can spend all day using all the different trains and cable cars if you are organised before you go.

Its a lovely small place.
Its a lovely small place. You could swim in the lake to cool off. Bus very handy, every 40 mins into Weggis or elsewhere.
Trip to Mount Rigi super & right next door to our hotel.
Tourist office very close, staff v helpful.
Boat to Lucerne on your doorstep.
Staff is really friendly. Mr. Thomas helped me a lot to find attractions around Vitznau. Breakfast is actually fresh and pleasant. I enjoyed the coffee they serve. And the scenery!!! Like a part of heaven! Amazing view to the lake. I absolutely enjoyed the walking by the lake in the morning. Do not forget to try the restaurant. Very professional chef. There is a grocery store nearby where you can find most of your needs. There is a bus stop by the Hotel, which you can use to go to Lucerne or other cities. A bit far, but you can enjoy the rout.
Everything! This is definitely a special place to unwind and relax. From the rooms, to the views, the location, the food, the amenities, my expectations were exceeded. The breakfast has anything and everything you could ever want to eat (pastries, yogurt, eggs anyway, meats and cheeses, smoked salmon, donuts, coffee, champagne, cereal/granola and so much more). The sauna and steam room are a great way to unwind, followed by a paddle board or swim in Lake Lucerne. Truly a great experience! Be sure to catch a sunset, you won't regret it.
This is on the shore of Lake Lucerne. it was a stopover hotel for us on the long journey from Greece to the UK. we arrived at the ferry to take us across Lake Lucerne too late. after a panic, the hotel calmly helped us with directions for a further 50 kms around the lake, reassuring us that the restaurant would remain available to us on arrival. all tuned out well. we had a delightful stopover, with particularly helpful and jolly staff who are clearly proud of their hotel - always a very good sign.
The location was sensational!!! The best we have been to and we have been lucky to experience some excellent spas around the world. We had an upgrade which was wonderful and a very unexpected touch - the suite stylish, cosy and very relaxing. The setting was so atmospheric and the staff made us feel absolutely at home. We really loved it and had two beautiful very romantic meals right by the water, even with a thunderstorm over the mountains which made it extremely dramatic with the backdrop.
The place is amazing! The view from the terrace is stunning on all the of Luzern river and perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine after exploring the area. You can also enjoy a lovely breakfast with the beautiful morning view. The apartment has everything you need and is very peaceful and quiet. The hosts are fantastic, and their dog is adorable! They gave us great recommendations for places to visit nearby. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I hope I will come back one day again!
Beautiful location, great spa, wonderful food, friendly staff - AND they threw the best New Year’s Eve event ever. There were little surprises around the hotel too - whoever thought to make the fire pit with fondue and marshmallows is a genius! We had a great time and will definitely be returning. (We booked a room with lake view and large balcony and would get the same again so we can enjoy it in summer.)
Very spacious, had everything we needed for us to feel at home, travel where we wanted, or just stay home, cook and relax. The art work and spot lighting was awesome. The location is excellent, was a bit foggy over the lake while we were there but I bet it is lovely in summer time. Up the mountain (Rigi), the sun was shining. And Lucerne was very close by car (train too though we did not use it).
The quality of the room was excellent - with beautiful views over Lake Lucerne and the beginning of the Alps. Hotel dining is exceptional with 2 Michelin star restaurants. The hotel spa is also superb with an outdoor infinity pool and jacuzzi, and indoor sauna, steam room and tepidarium. Staff were friendly and helpful.
very quiet at night, view onto the lake and low mountains, relaxing
mixture between country lodge and retreat house, charming old style wooden inside, pool and large lawn area with
chairs. Very large dining areas overlooking lake and Vitznau. Great food and very kind staff. Large breakfast buffet.
Stunning views, grounds and exterior lakeside terrace. Spa area was lovely and the outdoor Gondola sauna was a nice touch. We also enjoyed delicious food at the restaurant and by the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was also friendly and welcoming.
The hotel looks new and is well located.
Check-in was via machine but quick and without issue.
The room was big enough for us and we really enjoyed our stay.
The restaurant was closed but the breakfast was fantastic!
The staff were fabulous, upgraded room for us.View from the room ,perfect. Hotel had all we could want,Spa, pool perfect setting ..Resturant outside over looking Lake Lucerne, wonderful.
