Very charming traditionally buillt hotel built chalet (very old with lots of character). We travelled around Switzerland for 10 days and loved our 4 days in Interlaken and at this wonderful gem of a hotel and restuarant. Rooms were modern with access to a number of UK TV channels to watch once we went to bed (and it was comfy). The breakfast was wonderful (especially the bread) and a hot drinks machine server different coffees. Switzerland cost of living is very high, the restaurant food was worth every penny and is a credit to the chef and waiting staff. There is a regular bus service to Interlaken OST and West train stations, but we could walk comfortably in 20 mins for our evening stroll. The local paragliders landed nearby which was interesting to watch. WiFi also very good which allowed me to keep an eye on my emails.
100% will return again (this was the best hotel we stayed at foe pur entire time in Switzerand)

Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.

Recommend Hüsi Biergarten heartily. Open and serving very late. Terrific staff. Good food. Good rates. Great, healthy salads too.
Location is definitely a + as it is fairly near Interlaken West and the small enclave Unterseen which has quite a few good eateries! Though there's comment that host is not prompt in response but I'm grateful to get his/her response and pretty prompt in solving some of our issues:
1) allowing us to open door to drop our luggage as we arrived too early in the morning (though we are thoroughly shocked by what we see cos it have not be clean up)
2) resolving the socket issue as someone prior has damaged it
For what you pay, you can’t really complain and should know what to expect.
The shared toilet and shower isn’t ideal but we knew that we would have to share. But it was dirty. We had a sink in our room and washed from that and cleaned it ourselves. Great location though!
Oh and the bar next door is really loud you won’t get any sleep. But again we saw the reviews knew what to expect.
We only booked as booking.com cancelled our hotel we booked months ago 2 days before we got there.
The location cannot be beat. We woke up every morning, had three adorable cafes to choose from to order coffee (including one owned by our host) and walked to the Aare river to watch the swans and ducks. The hotel is located in the much more quaint and authentic part of interlaken- much less touristy than right down the road- but still in walking distance of the train and everything you want to do. Our host, Jan, was super helpful and responsive. We highly recommend this hotel.
The facilities are not so acceptable. The door in the bathroom cannot be closed properly. I am not satisfied with the cleanness as well. Other than that, the female landlord didn’t accept the card payment or Booking payment, she required to pay with bank transfer or cash which is really unexpected. As a Chinese, I wouldn’t say she is friendly. Apart from that, I believe it is so costly even in Interlaken. Not recommended.
We stayed at one of the apartments at this completely new and modern hotel. My son is using manual wheelchair and found this apartment very comfortable with spacious and excellent accessible bathroom. The stuff was very helpful and kind. Clean, walking distance from the train station with best location to the old town and the river. Loved this place! We will definitely come back!
Stayed for a couple of nights and we had a very gracious host! After driving for hours, it took us much longer to reach the beautiful town of Interlaken, and the host stayed up late and waited for us. The apartment, in the center of the town, was clean, safe and very accessible to shops and dining. The entire experience was unforgettable and we would definitely stay here again!!!
Great location, quiet, but right in the middle of historical center in old town Unterseen/Interlaken.
Bed was large and very comfortable, room was clean and cozy, including a red sofa and 2 small (low) tables. The kitchen facilities (in the same room) were complete, including microwave, stove, oven, kettle, toaster, salt, ... The landlady was very kind and helpful.
Location was fantastic, as was the cleanliness of the hotel.The lack of direct interaction with staff is a plus for me, so I think it adds up to the general score. I was able to sleep properly for the first time in months, so I'm very thankful for the comfort and the quietness of the place.

Great staff, new hotel. I was the first person to ever stay in the room that they put me in. Very comfortable and cozy rooms. It was a good break from the hostels I had been staying in.
Apartment is big and very near to Interlaken West station. There are windows in every room so the fresh air can pass in each room.

Great location. Lovely to be in Unterseen but in the easy walking distance to the station. The apartment was well equipped to self cater and comfortably fitted our family.
