The property is amazing, especially for kids. The big inside plaground is funny for kids of each age. The hotel is huge and kids can run around without fear of getting hurt. Easy access just in front of the arrival of the funicular. Rooms are big (we had an M size) and can accomodate confortably a cot and baggages.
Breakfast is also nice with a lot of options (also vegetarian and vegan and lactose free). The dinner option instead were okay, we didn’t really have any choice as every other restaurant in the village was closed.

Spatious modern room, extremely clean. Wonderful view of the mountains and the Vierwaldstättersee. The staff went out of their way to recommend nice things for us to do and helped us fix a problem with our wheelchair. The complete building and room are wheelchair accessible. Breakfast is good but could have some more fruit and vegetables and also some scrambled eggs would have been nice :-)

We stayed in Muotathal to do the hike in the Hölloch caves, which are not far away. The hotel was conveniently located and very comfortable - and if we would decide to visit the area again, we would have no hesitation in booking at the Gasthaus Post again.
Claudia and the team were friendly and helpful. And the breakfasts and dinners we had at the hotel were very good.
We also travelled with our dog, who felt equally comfortable in the room!
Heaven on earth! There are so many options of hiking routes and cycling with picturesque angel at every corner of the town. There were Ski Lifts to take further up the mountain and the experience of that is worth considering.

Fantastic location with the best views imaginable.
Fantastic location with the best views imaginable. Staff were warm and friendly and keen to help. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of selection and ingredients were excellent. Everywhere was clean and there were plenty of seating area's, especially sun loungers. Spa was very relaxing and not too busy during our May stay, in fact the hotel was surprisingly quiet.
Got a free upgrade from room with a view to room with a balcony.
Highly recommend a stay here, a real gem of a place.
Only possible negative is that as Brits we did missed having tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but that is barely worth mentioning as overall the hotel, facilities and views made this a must return location.

We stayed above Stoos at the Gipfelstock hotel (amazing experience up there!), and not directly in Stoos. We did hike down to Stoos and spent time in town, the town is quite sleepy and small and we did not think there was much to do and see directly in town, the restaurant we ate at was overpriced (even for Switzerland) given the quality of the food (sorry forget the name of it, but it is the first one you come across when walking into town from the funicular and is open 365). I imagine it may be more of an exciting town in the winter season and once the new modern hotel is complete. It is a good base for hiking in the area.

Stoos used to be peaceful but modern imo Ill thought out development has changed this place from a haven of peace to an overpriced resort that has lost its charm. It’s still got great walks and views but the get away from it all and unique ambience has been lost.
The champagne breakfast was truly outstanding and well worth the 30 CHF cost. Coffee is made with loving care and the fresh wild-berries are delicious.
Our room was large and well-laid out with the rare attention to detail and caring that makes all the difference.
The couple who own the Caschu Alp Boutique Design Hotel work tirelessly to make every guest feel special. An amazing four days in every way.
WARNING. Park your car in the valley at the funicular. There are luggage trolleys that make the 10 minute trip effortless.
we had an amazing stay! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, even offered us lunchboxes for our sunrise hike. The view from the hotel was breathtaking, providing the best scenery imaginable. The facilities were superbly maintained, offering a comfortable and luxurious experience. The staff's attentiveness and genuine care added an extra touch of warmth to our stay. I highly recommend the hotel for an unforgettable and enjoyable hotel experience.
Beautiful location, scrupulously clean and so very comfortable! Our room was in the Guest House, an annex which is a one minute walk to the main building; we would recommend this to travellers looking for a great experience on a budget.
All the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was amazing and the spa area was impeccable; we would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Stoos.
A small, about 10 rooms, family ran hotel, with a tiny very friendly team, clean and quiet as the entire town of Stoos itself. Private space guaranteed. There must be a great cuisine, we didn’t try though. Fair breakfast. Spacious rooms with two balconies. Nice hiking opportunities.
Very good value for half-pension.
Very good breakfast, very lovely restaurant staff.
Stoos is a lovely place - quiet and beautiful nature close by
Spa is nice - I could imagine it becomes crowded on weekends. FYI: Not nakes area is quite small, but overall nice size.
The stuff is amazing they do everything you ask for, very helpful and very hostile. The hotel is welcoming its guests from any background and treats everyone equally, which is very good. The food in the restaurant is very quickly cooked and served, it is a bonus too.
Fantastic experience. We booked at short notice. Because the reviews were good we had quite high expectations. But the experience even exceeded those expectations. Superb dinner and breakfast. Really welcoming team. Lovely small hotel. Great location in Stoos.
Great snowi vacation - beautiful hotel, The staff was very helpful and kind and the chef was amazing , mad for our little girl superb chocolate birthday cake . We were very happy with everything, the kids playroom was very nice as well.
Absolutely incredible place to stay with an awesome view from our room and a lovely restaurant which had gluten free pasta options (one of the only places in Stoos). Well priced for the room and the sauna/gym for 15chf was well worth it.
This hotel was my highlight during the short trip in Switzerland. Amazing view, fresh new building and rooms, great location for hiking, good restaurant. All you need really and for an affordable price. Thank you so much!
It’s at the top of mountain we super extremely beautiful view, and everything is clean and workers are welcoming. The hotel is by itself on top of mountain, so once you check in you need to stay the full day at hotel.
Hotel is very clean and new. The staff were also very friendly and check in was super easy. I also really liked the spa area, even though it was a charge of 12 CHF per person it was worth it after a long day hiking.
Amazing location and view. The hotel is super new, so everything looked fabulous. The area is car free, so you need to get up with a train, we liked this because it keeps the environment clean and less crowded.
Great Location. Liberty to choose and pay as you go for the needed services. The design either interior and exterior. The hotel facilities. Late check out up to 17h. The amenities provided in the room.
Nice place for skying. Besides close location to skying infrastructure the hotel has many other possibilities: swimming pool, sauna, fitness center.
The food is the restaurant is really delicious!
